👋 Hey, I’m Mohit Gumber
I’m an engineer by degree — I got into it because I love problem solving. But since joining Improvlore last year, I’ve found myself solving problems in a different way: helping build their brand through video, content, and production.
From running their social media and pitching promo ideas to livestreaming shows and creating reels that sell tickets — I’ve been learning by doing, and loving every part of it.
🎞️Instagram Reels :
Short-form content created end-to-end — from concept to shooting to final edit — optimized for attention and engagement.
Role:Â Concept, Script , Camera, Editing, Color,
Tools:Â Pixel 7a , Davinci Resolve / Canva .

Promo for Powerpoint roulette:
🎬 A fast-paced Instagram Reel created to explain the show(and sell tickets ). I pitched the concept, filmed it l, and edited it for vertical formats with a focus on strong pacing and visual punch. The video was recorded horizontally which provided space for the PPT to be included and used as a hook.
This is one of the best organically performing videos on the page. got 4k+ views in 24 hours time.

Promo for "Intensive Course by improv lore" :
🎬 This Instagram Reel was created to pitch the Intensive course and reach to newer audience. I pitched the concept(a ongoing trend), filmed it in a vertical format with the drill as the visual hook, and edited it with a focus on strong pacing and a clear message.

BTS edit of the intensive course :
🎬 Behind the scenes chaos — this one was way too hilarious not to turn into a reel. I cut together the best bloopers, fumbles, and accidental genius into something we couldn’t stop laughing at.

🎥Shows and Live-streaming :
Role: End-to-end livestream setup – tech, layout, and on-the-spot problem solving
I’ve been running livestreams for our shows, often in spaces not built for it — community venues where every setup has to be created from scratch. I enjoy the full process: figuring out the best camera placement, planning wire runs, managing audio, and handling the full flow from OBS to livestream.
Whether it’s capturing clean recordings for post-show use or making the performance accessible to a wider audience beyond Bangalore, I’ve learned to make it work with whatever equipment I have.

Reincarnations : Live from Vietnam!
🎬When our group performed in Vietnam, I handled the livestream solo — improvising with limited gear. I used my Pixel phone as the main camera input, configured the local Wi-Fi setup, and managed to stream the entire show while sitting in the audience. The stream was a bit rough around the edges, but I’m proud of how I pulled everything together in just a few hours — it gave remote viewers(and rest of the crew back home) a way to experience the show live, even from across the world.

🤖 AI vs Improvisers – Interactive Show
Role:Â Live AI-to-teleprompter system design & show support
🎬For a special show where improvisers performed scenes based on live AI prompts, I helped design and manage a real-time teleprompter setup — something we hadn’t used before. I handled the flow from the AI prompt generation to feeding lines to the teleprompter while the show was running, adapting as things shifted on stage.
It was a bit rough around the edges, but a thrilling experience — the tech held up, the improvisers played off it beautifully, and the audience loved the result. It pushed our creative boundaries and showed how tech can fuel performance.
🚀 Future Goals
I want to go deeper into production — not just editing what’s handed to me, but shaping the whole process: from idea to shoot to post. I’m especially interested in:
-
Improving my camera and lighting skills to shoot more polished content
-
Working on multicam setups for shows and live performances
-
Learning how to manage a full production pipeline — pre-pro, shoot, edit, post, and delivery
-
Collaborating on larger-format content (mini-docs, behind-the-scenes pieces, live events)
Ultimately, I want to become a creative problem-solver on set — someone who knows how to make great video happen, no matter the budget or tools.
📚 What I’m Learning Now
-
Camera setups & framing basics – working with limited gear but learning how to get a professional look
-
Lighting for video – natural and low-budget setups
-
OBS workflows – refining livestream capture and overlays
-
Better storytelling in short-form – understanding pacing, tone, and audience retention
-
Organizing production timelines – getting better at planning shoots and edits with a team in mind
đź‘‹ Thanks for Stopping By
I’m still early in my journey, but I’m excited about where this path is taking me — solving creative problems, learning new tools, and telling better stories one project at a time.
If anything here sparks a thought, a collab, or just a conversation — I’d love to hear from you.
Let’s make cool stuff. :)
