I was included in the ideation of an AI vs Improvisers show, My first instinct wasn't how can I fool people on stage If I am AI or Human. It was how would the tech for the show look like.
My brain directly went on problem solving for the things that would be needed for such a tech depended shows. Through multiple dry-runs of the format, where the format was also built upon, I took on the role for generating prompts and generating responses for the improvisors to act on.
We went through an idea of each improvisor on stage with their phone in hand and trying to figure out themselves what the prompt was, to a shared teleprompter where all the output will be showed to the improvisor.
It was also a first time for Improvlore to do a fresh show format on a new stage. So of course we ran into silly problems like "oh this HDMI cable isn't long enough." and "this switch doesn't have any power." but those were solvable by some group elbow grease.
The major problems happened in the show, where I was much slower in presenting the information required on stage to the right person when I had anticipated that the prep was enough for what the show required.
As said by many , "the show must go on" and it did.had to figure out many little solutions in the moment and the show went successfully with the AI winning at the end. I was on the winning side then.
